EMA is a company of highly motivated and experienced event managers that thrive on change and challenges. We have a demonstrated ability to develop well thought-out plans to achieve strategic goals including increased tourism to South Australia.

EMA has extensive event management, marketing and administration experience with major high profile, mass participation international events, including the Port Festival, Challenge Tour Recreational Ride (the official recreational ride of the Tour Down Under), Penola events celebrating the Canonisation of the Blessed Mary MacKillop, Asian Championship League Soccer (venue management) World Police and Fire Games, TourDown Under, The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive, Rugby World Cup, International Horse Trials and The Sydney Olympics.

EMAs principal Jodi Pfitzner has held senior management positions in SA Tourisms Australian Major Events (now Events South Australia [ESA]), as well as the wider events industry for over 15 years.  Her staff and network of consultants are deeply experienced in all aspects of event planning and execution.

Some of the events Jodi and EMA have scoped, planned, budgeted, staffed, managed and run have been unprecedented in their scale. In 2007, The World Police and Fire Games was the largest sporting event ever held in South Australia, with over 8,000 competitors in 79 events across 55 venues in 10 days. The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive she ran in 2005 was identified as Tourism Australia’s icon Outback Australian Event, won the State tourism award and was nominated for a national award.
