Cruise Ship Meet & Greet Program - Adelaide & Kangaroo Island
Client: South Australian Tourism Commission
Adelaide runs a unique volunteer ‘Meet and Greet’ program for cruise ship passengers and crew arriving in Outer Harbour and Kangaroo Island.
Co-ordinated by Event Managers Australia, the ‘Meet and Greet’ program gives cruise ship passengers the chance to sample South Australia’s friendly culture and arts and crafts as soon as they step ashore. Volunteers and local retailers are both on hand to provide information.
Event Managers Australia co-ordinates the volunteers, and liaises between retail groups, liners and other interest groups. We’ve been doing this successfully since 2010, helping over 18,000 passengers discover South Australia’s unique wonders.
